If you really installed a channel (full channel or forwarder channel), and want to delete it, launch the WAD manager again, select the WAD file from your SD that you want to work with, and instead of install select uninstall. it's just a shortcut, for convenience only. The interest of forwarders is to launch homebrew directly from system menu without launching the homebrew channel. the channel is installed into the console, but it does not contain the program, only a shortcut to load the program located on SD card, this is what we call "forward" to the boot.dol on SD. Maybe you installed a "forwarder channel", which is a semi-install. Installation means copied into the internal memory of the console (not the SD), and to do that you use either a homebrew installer, or a wad manager. It's installed into the console if you ever see it as a channel on your system menu, and you used a WAD manager to install a WAD file for that program. Most programs appear to be getting stuck on #8, but one (I forget which) gets past 8 and sticks at 9 which makes me believe that content 9 is the problem install. Are you sure it's "installed" into the vWii ?ĭidn't you just copied to SD card ? just delete it, or leave it and never use it. Various "contents" are installed until #8/#9 are reached. I got the same result as earlier attempts with D2x Custom IOS Installer. I tried that and still got "AHBPROT: 00000000" and ticket -2011 so I tried Wii Mod v3.2 which said that AHDPROT was enabled and used IOS58 v6176 to try to install the ModMii wad. I am going to try adding with and without No where on the main screen does it say that AHB is available. I called Wii System Information up by pressing '2' and saw at the bottom "AHBPROT: 00000000". Note: To enable AHBPROT mode, add a "no_ios_reload/" line below.

Fast D-PAD navigation and shortcut buttons Flexible IOS reload via easy selection screen Express 1-click Install and Patch IOS36 Fast 1 button install of all WADs in a folder Nice 1 glance view of all IOS to manage I also never updated it after connecting it to the internet.Īny ideas on how I should proceed or why this is happening? Thank you. I formatted the internal memory before my most recent attempt to softmod it to ensure there were enough blocks available.
